Solstice Celebration

Hope Dancers and Central Coast Permaculture Guild enthusiasts are invited to a
Solstice Celebration and Tree Planting Party
Come join us in healing the Earth and honoring the arrival of Winter at the
home of Steve, Marcy and Ben Martin's near Cayucos on Sunday, December 20,
1998, beginning at 10:00 A.M. to ? 

Ben and Steve live on an old 160-acre dairy ranch near Cayucos and are
practicing Permaculture principles in restoring the land.   Tree planting will
begin at 10:00 A. M.  We will be planting Cork Oaks, as well as other native
Oaks.  Bring a pot luck dish, planting stick and/or shovel.  Musical
instruments, including drums and didgeridoos are also appropriate for this
celebration.

Directions:  From San Luis Obispo, take Highway 1 North toward Morro
Bay/Cayucos.  Take the Cayucos Drive exit and go left across the bridge,
towards the ocean, then go right at the first stop sign, which is Birch
Street.  Go down Birch Street and curve back under Highway 1.  Go
approximately 2 miles and bear left at Picaccio Street.  You'll cross a bridge
onto a dirt Road.  Continue down another couple of miles.  Look for a Solstice
Party sign, the road leads right up to the Martin's house.  Call them at
