Ojai December 3 through 6, 1998
Covered in this class:
- Shelter; never need a sleeping bag again!
- Food, blankets, clothing, medicinal or furniture uses of a native/local
plant
- Fire without matches
- Water; finding and making it drinkable
- Awareness and observation skills;
- Slip silently through the landscape
- Seeing through the dark; and introduction to invisibility
This workshop will run in a lecture/demonstration/practice format with
scheduled breaks and mealtimes. Additional skills may be demonstrated as time
allows.
Directions and packing list will be mailed when registrations are received.
Bring everything you need to feed, camp, and clothe yourself comfortably for
the duration. Shelter will be provided. This class will take place in any
weather.
Registration: Workshop tuition: $300. To register, send a non-refundable $150
deposit postmarked by November 25, 1998 , payable to Peter Wolf at above
address. Balance is due at start of class. Enrollment is limited to a small

Peter Wolf holds a B.A. in Counseling Psychology, M.A., Psychology, Wilderness
Adaptation Skills. His 25 years background in wilderness, awareness and
outdoor education includes ten years with Tom Browns Tracking/Wilderness
Survival School and 2 years living the old way of the ancient scout. He draws
upon an extensive history of martial arts, and classical dance training. Peter
has taught for universities and schools, business people, physicians and
wellness programs, military officers, retreat centers and mens groups since
1972.
