We’ll be replanting around the outside of the garden fence to create a new hedge of Rosa Mutabilis – also known as Butterfly Rose.

Please join us on Saturday for our regular 1st Saturday open Volunteer Morning 9am-1pm

+++ February 6th:  Thanks to local arborists Action Tree Care, the old dead shrubs that used to line the outside of the fence around the garden have been cut down and chipped, leaving the space ready for us to plant a new hedge.

If you have any gardening questions, UCCE certified master gardeners will be on hand from 10am-12noon to help you find answers.

If you just like hanging out with other gardeners, spreading mulch, pulling weeds, taking care of trees – this is where you need to be.

Make a note in your planner for Saturday February 13th, when the California Rare Fruit Growers hold an open workshop on “Things You Can Do Now to Increase Your Fruit Yield Next Summer!”. Local author and Master Gardener Joan Calder will talk about attracting native bees & building bee houses.
