Saturday, June 13, the Youth Drought Project will have a kick-off for
their summer program. Please share this event with youth ages 15-25 who
are interested in fun, games, water, paid work, community service, and
adventure. Â
The program focuses on the youth from 11:00-noon and then the film
"Eyes on the Sky" will be shown.
Eyes on the Sky is an impartial look at the present and the future of
fresh water in our cities and farmland, a film meant to promote citizen
discussion and prompt public action. Water is integral to every aspect of
life, and the west’s complicated relationship to it is the film’s
focus.
The whole community is invited to see the film and participate in the
discussion afterwards. The event is free, parking is free and yes there's
also a free lunch!
