Backyard Food Forests

A Guide to Creating small scale food forests using Permaculture Principles. Learn how to turn your lawns and ornamental gardens into a forest garden that is both beautiful and productive. 

The morning session takes place in Larry and Linda’s mature backyard food forest.  In the afternoon we move to Mesa Harmony Garden, a four-year-old community food forest in the making.

When:  May 9th, 2015,  9:AM until 4:00 PM   (Break for Lunch 11:30 – 12:30)

Where:   9–11:30am:- El Prado Place, Samarkand, 12:30-4pm:- Mesa Harmony Garden, Dolores Drive, Mesa

Trades of volunteer labor at Mesa Harmony Garden are an option in lieu of cash donations.
