Intro
Down behind the Orange Curtain, in the scrubby wilds of Irvine, irrepressible perma-pioneer Bill Roley is organizing actions to permeate Permaculture Design education to more schools and youth groups -- a big step towards furthering that is a gathering to be held May 8-10, 2015 at Irvine Ranch Outdoor Education Center, tentatively titled The Permaculture Conservancy .

here is a outline of organizing projects and needs for making this ambitious gathering successful -- while working in loose groups can be frustrating there are few more rewarding results than what those effort can achieve (can someone help this flow on Base Camp?) -- call it our best current technology so pls buck up and pitch in -- thx, ew

Subject: Future orientation for Permaculture Conservancy May 8-10, 2015 at Irvine Ranch Outdoor Education Center

We had our initial meeting at the Irvine Ranch Outdoor Education Center (IROEC) Oct 11. I enclose our summary notes on the meeting with our group and staff from IROEC. Please read them over and get back to me with your availability to lead one of our committees, volunteer, or if you can refer assets and resources. Please search yourself to what you might contribute to making our May 8-10 permaculture gathering into an empowering and lasting accomplish for IROEC and the Southern California permaculture movement.

It is happening. After 35 years of rooting, society is recognizing permaculture and its practicing professionals on making inroads into all fields. How can we further develop life space curricula and permaculture design teaching techniques for the public schools and the groups like Boy Scouts of America. These ecology programs could offer a permaculture merit badge that Cub Scouts, Brownies, Boy and Girl Scouts might be enriched with ideals and insights of Permaculture Design. Let us step up our campaign to engage each other to help and spread the word.

Please read, comment and respond. We need your feedback, insights and energy to make this happen.

Website design, speaker suggestions, funding,  public relations and advertising are critical to begin immediately before the end of the year holidays.  If you have other critical path suggestions please feel free to jump in call me or send me a text or email.
