Our Kickstarter Countdown Is On
Seven days remain to fund our Community Supported Seed initiative. Contributors can receive seed credit in our online catalog, with other rewards connected to our history of place also available. Campaign ends on September 15th.
Dear friends and supporters of All Good Things,
For the past month we have been running a Kickstarter campaign to raise $15,000 for our seed company to:
- Increase Seed Production On Our Home Farm and Develop a Network of Certified Organic Seed Growers Across the Southern California Region
- Enhance Our Seed Cleaning and Storage Equipment
- Advance Fund Our Envelope Production and Printing Costs
- Modestly Expand Our Office Infrastructure
We view this campaign as a mutual investment. From our years of experience operating our farm's Community Supported Agriculture program, whereby community members support our farm ahead of its growing season in exchange for produce, we decided to adopt this same model for seeds. Your contributions will net you seed credit in our online catalog, which can be used in tandem with any future variety releases, discounts, specials, or coupons we offer. Additionally, we are offering a host of other unique backer rewards connected to our land and its history. These includes a tour of our farm in Ojai, California, screenprints and original drawings from our illustrator Goda Trakumaite, and photos from farmer Quin Shakra.
This a critical time for our campaign. Your support during these last seven days of fundraising – through the evening of September 15th – could make the difference between our success or failure. Your support of us is a vote of confidence for small seed companies everywhere who stand for regional, decentralized food production, and open-source seeds. Our company exists in defiance of the dominant seed industry trends of corporate consolidation and genetic engineering of our food supply.

We have amended our campaign with a number of video, pictorial and long-form updates that explore our motivations for fundraising through Kickstarter and provide a deeper look at our farm and seed company operations. They are available here:
Please support and share our campaign through social media and with friends, family, and anyone else who is interested in our work with certified organic seeds.
Thank you for supporting work that supports your values!
with respect and gratitude,
-Quin Shakra, co-founder/manager, All Good Things Organic Seeds
