The second installment of our 5 week summer series of "Focus on Food," airs today, Thursday at 3pm on KPFK 90.7, and it.  I couldn't be more proud of this episode, as it is another showcase for some of our most inspiring, local, good food champions.  Up this week, we sit down with infamous artisanal bread baker Mark Stambler and Assemblymen Mike Gatto on the California Homemade Food Act, homesteader Erik Knutzen, host a forum on traditional fermentation (kraut, kombucha, kefir, traditional soda), and talk food and community with Rishi, Ro and Pearl Kumar from the Growing Home.
