ITS THIS COMING WEEKEND … Saturday June 7th

 

9am to 12:30  – Volunteer Work-party

12noon to 1pm – Mesa Neighborhood Exchange

 

Our next Volunteer Day is Saturday June 7th when we have another work-party in the garden, and then host the Mesa Neighborhood Exchange… Bring your surplus home-grown fruit and veggies to share, meet up with neighbors and get involved with the Mesa Community's very own food forest to feed the hungry.

 

So, what's keeping us busy in the garden this month?

 

- Selective tree watering (using our new moisture meter).

- Continuing summer fruit-tree maintenance.

- Hanging holographic tape to distract bird feeders.

- Rooting up that pervasive grass from around the trees.

- Mulching.
