On Wednesday, January 18 the Permaculture Guild of Santa Barbara will present a free evening of videos and discussion on Selecting and Planting Bare Root Fruit and Nut Trees, Grafting and how to get the most from a Scion Exchange.

 

At this meeting we'll be preparing ourselves for some exciting local events coming later in the month: the California Rare Fruit Growers' Scion Exchange and Grafting Demo on Saturday, Jan 28, 10am -12:30pm at Norm Beard's nursery in Goleta and the 4th Annual Seed Swap on Sunday, January 29th, 11am - 3pm at the downtown library, with special guest Bill McDorman of Native Seed Search. Bill will also present a talk on Friday evening, Jan 27 and a Seed School workshop on Saturday, Jan 28th, 9am-4pm at Fairview Gardens, so we have a lot of exciting choices!

 

WHAT: An evening of videos and discussion on Selecting and Planting Bare Root Trees, Grafting and Scion Exchange.

WHERE: Watershed Resource Center at Arroyo Burro beach, 2981 Cliff Drive in Santa Barbara

WHEN: 7 pm- 8:45 pm. An open Executive Committee meeting will be held at 6 pm - all are welcome.

WHO: The members of the Permaculture Guild of Santa Barbara and everyone else who's interested in learning how to plant fruit and nut trees and other edibles.
