Holy Cross Church will be holding a work party on Saturday October 16th starting at 8:00 AM to install a system of berms and swales. This will be a first step towards the installation of a food forest that will feed poor people here in Santa Barbara.  We especially need people with decent experience and permaculture training to help supervise the efforts. We will have A frames to lay out the swales and we will have Earth moving equipment to excavate the swales. Consider it a free workshop. The church is located at 1740 Cliff Dr. in the Mesa.
