Will Hooker's Intro to Permaculture course from
NC State
University is available online through Apple's
iTunes U. I've watched the
first four classes, and they are outstanding. The classes are
offered as an
elective in the Landscape Architecture or Horticulture program, and
the
video was professionally produced for a distance education class.
I've had
a chance to meet Will and tour his own garden, and he embodies
what
permaculture is supposed to be, both philosophically and
practically.
The video is only available through Apple's free iTunes U system.
The link
below should automatically launch iTunes. The classes are 1.5
hours long,
and the video is high quality, so the files are very large.
I
believe some of the videos are field trips to permaculture sites,
including
Earthhaven Ecovillage.
