We are truly blessed to be honoring Hopi / Havasupai / Tewa GRANDMOTHER MONA POLACCA for this 7th Council Gathering.
Grandmother Mona's clarity and love are calling in a strong and joyful prayer for the Council and all of us who join them.
Grandmother Mona Polacca, a Hopi/Havasupai/Tewa elder, has a Master of Social Work degree and is employed with the Inter Tribal Council of Arizona as an advocate for Native American health issues. She serves on several United Nations committees on indigenous people's issues and is a featured author, speaker, and educator on indigenous people's human rights, aging, mental health, addiction and violence. She is also the President/CEO and faculty of the Turtle Island Project, a non-profit program that promotes a vision of wellness by providing trans-cultural training to individuals, families, and healthcare professionals

Mago resort
We will be gathering at the beautiful SEDONA MAGO RETREAT, set amidst 160 acres of pristine land and awe-inspiring red rocks of Sedona and surrounded by the vast Coconino National Forest. Mago Retreat is a lovely and remote property about 20 minutes outside of Sedona. The Resort has a very large meeting space and, we can have our Sacred Fire on-site.

Schedule: December 3rd- 6th
As is customary, the Grandmothers convene around their round table each day. We are fortunate to have the spacious Mago Retreat Earth House for this Gathering. The Grandmothers will also offer prayers three times a day at the nearby Sacred Fire site.

Note: Breakfast and Dinner at Mago are available only for people lodging at the Retreat. Lunch ($13) is available to others for purchase by prior arrangement (see below).

Tuition
Tuition for the event is $350, U.S. $150 non-refundable deposit is due at time of registration. $200 balance is due November 1.
Refund policy: Tuition payments are not transferable, but we will honor refund requests for tuition minus deposit, until December 15th.
Registering by Mail
To register by mail, To print out the registration form please go to the Website http://www.grandmotherscouncil.com/events.html and mail it to: Center for Sacred Studies, P.O. Box 745, Sonora, CA 95370. Please enclose a check for the $150 deposit (U.S. dollars, non-refundable) or for the full $350 tuition. Registrations are not complete until payment is made. Your receipt from Google Checkout or your canceled check confirms your registration.

Transportation
Phoenix is the most frequently used airport. To get to the Sedona Mago Retreat Center, you can rent a car at the Phoenix airport. Or, you can take the Sedona-Phoenix shuttle with over 6 departures from the Phoenix airport. This shuttle drops you right at the Information House at the entrance to the Sedona Mago Retreat Center. From there, you arrange for a Mago Shuttle that takes you down the 11 mile dirt road to the resort.
Sedona-Phoenix Shuttle Reservations: (800) 448-7988. Cost: $80 roundtrip - special price for Mago guests.
Mago Shuttle Reservations: (928) 634-1287 Cost: $10 roundtrip.
Procedure: make reservations with Sedona-Phoenix Shuttle at least 1 week prior to arrival. Then, call Mago Shuttle to schedule your pick-up from the Information House. IMPORTANT: Mago needs to have arrival information at Information House 1 week prior.
