As we all try to track the rapidly moving Jesusita fire, I want to make sure that we all have as much accurate information as possible:

2. EVACUATIONS
Given the speed with which the conditions are changing, please be aware of your proximity to the fire, prepare to evacuate if you feel threatened or are in the evacuation warning areas (see maps at the above websites), and leave when asked by emergency service personnel (or sooner if you feel threatened).
3. MANY EVENTS CANCELLED
The VAST majority of events in the Santa Barbara area over the coming few days have been canceled due to the fire. We will try to keep up on our calendar, but a good guideline is to assume that events are canceled and email or call the organizers before showing up.
