Santa Cruz, CA - Registration is now open for the Permaculture Design Course Series, which begins on the second weekend in February and continues one weekend a month through the second weekend in July. Course will be held at a beautiful developing permaculture site surrounded by the magical redwoods of Aptos.
Participants in the Santa Cruz Permaculture Design Course will learn how to integrate ecological principles into their lives to transition to a more sustainable lifestyle by designing ecosystems for home, garden, business and community.
Organic gardening and foodforestry; alternative energy and appropriate technology; solar design and natural building; greywater gardens and rainwater harvesting; ecological decision making; community building and communication skills
-with a special focus on Localizing Enterprise and Business Development Planning.
Learn from veteran permaculture instructors and internationally acclaimed leaders in the worldwide sustainability movement... led by Larry Santoyo, Vice President and Field Director of The Permaculture Institute (USA) -with Ken Foster, Lydia Nielsen and Friends.
