15-26th, 2009
We
are pleased to announce that we will be offering a Permaculture Design
Certification Course taught by Warren Brush at the Satya-Jyoti farm (http://satya-jyoti.com),
in the Alwar district of Rajasthan in Northern India this coming January.
Satya-Jyoti is a unique and heartfelt skill-based education program that
supports young women who have been abused and outcast from their families and
communities and have asked us to teach a design course for their community.
To
create an international exchange of dialogue and cross cultural learning, we
are inviting six adventurous and heartfull people from western countries to
join in this permaculture class to earn their Permaculture Design Certificate
alongside the people in India.
Warren
Brush is the co-founder of Quail Springs Learning Oasis and Permaculture Farm
and the founder of True Nature Design, a Permaculture consultation firm that
works in North America, Africa and other countries world-wide.
This
world-recognized, 72-hour, 12 day certification course covers sustainable
living systems design for all landscapes and climates - including food systems,
water harvesting, waste cycling, home design, climate care and much more. The
course is relevant and suitable for home-dwellers, those interested in
sustenance security, gardeners, farmers, students, design professionals,
entrepreneurs, business developers, and sustainability consultants. The cost will
