• “old town” area of the city, 8 blocks from the main street of old town, lots of charm. one block from Mountain Avenue, the heart of classic renovations happening here.
• fort collins is home to several microbreweries (o’dells, new belgium...), a community currency system, excellent farmers markets in the summer, several CSAs, and local lamb, beef, and pork producers. it also has a great local coop and a new Whole Foods market. there is a lively brew-pub scene, excellent music venues, a performing arts center, and a strong sustainable agriculture community at the local university, Colorado State University
