Thursday, November 10, Oak Grove Pavilion:

Two free lectures with internationally noted permaculturist, Robina McCurdy. A light, locally grown dinner served between sessions. Reservations are not required.

4:30 to 6 pm: The Teaching Garden: How the garden can be an optimum site for learning and growing.

6:30 to 8 pm: The Kitchen Garden: Use what you have to become a more self-sufficient producer of healthy foods.

Friday, November 11, 7 pm, High School Student Center:

Free Friday Films at Oak Grove/Home Grow'n. A look at how we can and why we need to preserve agricultural lands in Ventura County. Reservations are not required.

Saturday, November 12, 9:30 am to 4 pm, Oak Grove Garden & Pavilion:

Sustainable Family Day Workshop with Robina McCurdy: For parents, children and children at heart. Create nibble gardens and play spaces, build habitats, identify plants and wildlife, harvest water, stories, songs and see the slideshow: Small Space, Big Harvest. $55-$95 per family or $35-$70 per individual (sliding scale).
