Dear friends, clients, colleagues, watershed protectors,
sustainability
enthusiasts, earth mothers and fathers (and kids), tree huggers,
plant
fondlers, water conservers, and others,
GardenWise Guys, a new television series on Santa Barbara CityTV
channel
18, will premiere on Earth Day, this Saturday, April 23 at 8:00 pm. I
hope
you'll find the time to watch if you're in the local area.
In addition to being goofier than we probably ought to be, my partner
the
irrepressible Silly Billy Goodnick and I try to offer helpful
information
on how to make your garden more sustainable and easier to live with.
The
first show is titled, "Right Plant, Right Place" and covers the
intricacies
of successful planting design. Future shows will cover other aspects
of
sustainable landscaping and garden care. New shows will appear
quarterly.
The next one will be on irrigation.
For those who are out of the area, we're going to try to have a video
clip
of the show on our website at
http://www.owendell.com.
And we may have DVDs
available at some point; not sure about that yet.
Please see the attached press release from the City of Santa Barbara
for
more information, or visit the CityTV website at
http://www.citytv18.com/.
We've had a lot of fun making the show; I hope you have fun watching
it.
Always happy to hear your comments.
All the best,
Owen
