Here's some of the supplies/ needs I have. If you want to pass this along in some form, that would be great. I really can use someone to bring an extra wheelbarrow and an extra staple gun.
The party is at 125 Sycamore St, one block from the Bike Church in downtown Santa Cruz from 4pm till dark on Friday, June 25th. Potluck. Help so very welcomed.
What's needed:
1. People who have and/ or can work with tools such as
cordless drills
staple gun
skill saw
hammer
scissors
shovels
2. People to bring vegetable starts if they have extra or even want to donate:
Tomato starts
Lettuce starts
Onion starts
Peppers of all kinds
Corn starts
Bean starts (all kinds)
pea starts (all kinds)
Strawberry plants
3. People can bring food or drinks to share, or a barbecue... it's nice to have a picnic out of it. Any amount is welcome.
4. Anyone who likes to play music is welcome to bring instruments.
5. People who want to help with children's activities:
Planting seeds in six pack containers and marking them
Playing tag or hide and go seek
Helping organize planting when and if the time comes for that into the garden beds
