Permaculture With Dr. Bill Roley

Lecture and Hands-On Learning

Permaculture Institute of Southern California

Who should attend?  Garden Angels.  If you grow vegetables and fruit, teach biology, or if you want to learn how to use your land to improve the quality of life on this planet, then you will enjoy this.

What is Permaculture?

David Holmgren, an Australian ecologist, coined this word in the mid 1970’s.  Dr. Bill Mollison, an environmental psychology professor, popularized the use of this word, a contraction of "permanent agriculture" or "permanent culture." Permaculturalists design ecological human habitats and food production systems. Permaculture is a land use and community building movement, which strives for the harmonious integration of dwellings, microclimate, annual and perennial plants, animals, soils, and water into comunities.

Thank you for joining the Permaculture movement as a participant.
