----------------------------------------------- THE FOOD LOBBY
Do you live fairly close to LA Eco-Village. You may want to consider joining the Food Lobby, a co-op, providing ourselves with high quality organic food at the lowest practical cost. More info here: http://laecovillage.org/food-lobby/ ============================ GOOD NEWS FROM L.A. ECO-VILLAGE: Opportunity to make year end tax deductible donations
Our limited equity housing cooperative, Urban Soil-Tierra Urbana (USTU), received its official 501.c.3 tax exempt status from the IRS in September 2014. If you are thinking about an end-of-the-year charitable contribution, that supports our work in sustainable and affordable community development, please keep us in mind. You might want to contribute to the eco-technologies fund for USTU, or the Beverly-Vermont Community Land Trust Learning Garden, or CRSP: all three of LAEV's tax exempt organizations are engaged in a wide variety of public services. You may also want to donate for a program that you would like to run with one of our organizations. For operations or project oriented donation inquiries, contact Lois at crsp@igc.org or 213/738-1254. Thanks for considering. |
