You can register for all or part. The course builds upon itself, but each day or weekend can be attended as a stand alone class.
Part One : Nature as Teacher, A Pattern Understanding
Practices and Principles of Permaculture Design. "Fire, Water, Earth & Air- New Ecology and Sacred Geometry": Introduction to Permaculture Design and Natural Pattern Understanding -
Dates: 10/4/14, 10/5/14, 11/1/14, and 11/2/14
Part Two : Pattern Application | Design & Build
"Food, Water, Shelter...Earth-Friendly Techniques & Technologies": Building the Home Ecosystem. The second part will focus on Permaculture Design methodologies and “zoning” systems. Careful planning and attention to energy and energy flow, Conservation and efficiency accomplished through placement and site design. Techniques and technologies (high and low) for designing & building a complete home ecosystem. Progressive design from local to broad scales will be explored. -
Dates: 12/5/14, 12/6/14, 1/3/14, and 1/4/15
Part Three: Community Development & Environmental Design
Moving from Techniques and Technologies into Strategies for Creating Community Self-Reliance. These final sessions will feature Applying Permaculture to Business & Community Development and creating a sense of place- Also, patterns of human dynamics, community and economic development. We will learn strategies for creating community-wide sustainability and methods for finding our own right-livelihoods. Local Economies, EcoVillage Design and Community Celebration -

CERTIFICATION
Upon successful completion of the 6 month course, a Certificate of Completion in Permaculture Design is awarded through EarthFlow Design Works & the Permaculture Institute USA.
