Anybody want a great permaculture pet? They eat weeds and poop fertilizer and are cute to boot!

Hello everyone,

I noticed this on the Disabled Rabbits list this evening.  The rabbits are located in Granada Hills.  If you can help, the contact information is in the email (I have no additional info).

Noone individual e-mailed us to request to foster even ONE of these babies. They have 3 days before their bodies end up in a garbage bag, are rendered, and turned into soaps. Sorry to be so graphic, but that's what happens when they euthanize animals at shelters. Please let's save these babies....together we can do it! They have no other chance. Thank you!

URGENT: 18 RABBITS ABANDONED IN GRANADA HILLS, CA
BWF Volunteer has just stumbled upon a house in Granada Hills, CA, where 18 rabbits are about to be abandoned... this coming Wednesday ... The family is being evicted from their home and they have no choice but to take rabbits to their local shelter where they will most certainly be euthanized. They are heart broken. All but three bunnies are spayed and neutered. There is a group of 5 (3 boys, 2 girls), a pair, and 11 more. We would like to help this family and situate the little ones. They seem to be friendly with no major health issues. If you are able to foster until a permanent home is found, BWF will take care of spay/neuter surgeries of the remaining 3 buns, cover medical bills, advertise them on Petfinder, and do active adoptions. If you have a playpen and can afford hay/pellets/veggies, that would be great. If not, we will figure it out. Let’s try to help … we will try to get photos soon. E-mail us at info@bunnyworldfoundation.org – Thank you!
