Learn-By-Doing:

Be prepared for some note taking and some light to med hands-on work.  We will learn about applying permaculture design to garden design, garden care and landscape construction- sheet mulching, composting, and building with "Urbanite" (broken concrete).

Also:

Q & A for your home garden and landscape. Water conservation and lawn conversion rebates available from LADWP will also be discussed.

Please Bring: 

All-Weather Clothing, work gloves, hat, sunscreen, sturdy shoes

Water bottle

Bag-Lunch

If available bring: garden tools, wheelbarrow, shovel, pick, rake etc...
