1220, which
would
establish a
dedicated
source of
funding of
upto $525
million per
year for
affordable
housing, cleared
both the
Senate
Transportation
and Housing
Committee by a
6-2-1 vote and
the Senate
Governance and
Finance
Committee by a
5-2 vote. It
is now
scheduled for
the Senate
Appropriations
Committee, and
if cleared
there by May
25 could be
voted on the
Senate floor.
