Come down to Home Grown Culver City!  Get paid to talk about gardening!

"...the greatest change we need to make is from consumption to production, even if on a small scale, in our own gardens. If only 10% of us do this, there is enough for everyone.
Hence the futility of revolutionaries who have no gardens, who depend on the very system they attack, and who produce words and bullets, not food and shelter."

Subject: paid help needed on October 23

I have a work opportunity for a knowledgeable organic vegetable gardener who likes to talk to people.

Home Grown Culver City

October 23, 2010

9 a.m. - 5 p.m. plus set up and breakdown time

Job duties:

promoting Gardenerd.com services - classes, consulting and food garden design (promotional materials will be on hand)

sharing organic gardening knowledge with those who approach the booth

engaging people about what they're growing in their own gardens this season

You would be working with one other person at the booth who has previous experience, but limited gardening experience.

Pay: $12 hr

Contact: Christy Wilhelmi, christy@gardenerd.com, 310-773-4806

I'd ideally like to train the person briefly one-on-one since I will be out of town that weekend (the whole reason why I'm looking for someone to fill in).

Thanks for your help,

Christy Wilhelmi
