This would be an invaluable resource. I think it should be divided between coastal S Cal and Inland Empire/Desert areas because the climates are pretty different.
Has anybody done a permaculture plant list for S Calif? That includes breakdowns of nitro fixers, dynamic accumulators, fruiting, perennial veggies, etc? My friend from Gulf Coast U did one for S Florida which is invaluable. We really should do these for all areas, and make a public database that any permaculturist can access...
