This Sunday, we'll be at the Sunland food forest from 10 AM to 2 PM - we'll be going to Larry Santoyo's famous permaculture talent show later that Sunday!
We have too many banana trees! We need some dug up, and anything you dig, you take, for free. We have big ones, small ones, all sizes and several different varieties. They will all fruit in the right microclimates (they like the westside, or neighborhoods that get the marine layer).
We are continuing our sale and have some great exotic stuff, still. We have some cool herbs, including Orange Bergamot (think French perfume and french cuisine) and there should be some chocolate mint left too. We have delicious apples, apricots, cherries, fig, gotu kola, kei apple, asian pear, pluot, quince, ice cream bean, kafir lime (the leaves are great spices!).
And we harvested the guavas from our Malaysian red and green guava trees -
wow! The red is beautiful pink fruit inside and a bit spicy sweet. The green is huge fruit, lots of guava on it, and oh, so sweet, but tangy too! Amazing stuff! We also have Pine guava from Hawaii and they are all beautiful. They are pretty hardy plants, will fruit many places.
Anyway, lots more stuff, too many to list...
