Santa Cruz, CA -Permaculture Design Course Series

Santa Cruz, CA - Registration is now open for the Santa Cruz Permaculture Design Course, which will begin the third weekend in February, 02/16-02/17, and continue once a month through the third weekend in July, 07/ 19-07/20, at various locations throughout Santa Cruz County. Saturday class times are from 9am-5pm and Sunday class times are from 10am-5pm.

Participants in the Santa Cruz Permaculture Design Course will learn how to integrate ecological principles into their lives by learning about organic gardening and farming; alternative energy and appropriate technology; solar design and natural building; water conservation and erosion control; community building and communication skills.

Learn from veteran permaculture instructors and internationally acclaimed leaders in the worldwide sustainability movement including Larry Santoyo, Director, EarthFlow Design Works; Ken Foster, Permaculture Designer, Founder of Terra Nova Ecological Landscaping; plus Heather Coburn Flores, Lydia Neilsen, Bruce Beernink, Brian Barth and Darren Huckle.

Join us on the third weekends of February through July 2008 for a program that past students have called "life-changing" and "a source of inspiration". Register for all or part. Tuition for this exciting series: $90.00/day, $175.00/weekend and $950.00 for all six weekends (pre-paid in full).
