is a Swedish derived sustainability framework that has been successfully
used by Nike, Starbucks, Electrolux, City of Santa Monica and Whistler,
British Columbia to guide their sustainability efforts. The Oregon
Natural Step Network, a 250 member non-profit organization, was created
to demonstrate how a community can move toward sustainability while
maintaining a healthy economy. The University will use the Natural Step
as a key component in guiding its development of a campus wide
sustainability plan.
