May 14th & June 18th

2-WEEK PERMACULTURE DESIGN COURSE - Summer Intensive
May 28- June 11, 2005 (there is still time to register!)

During two-weeks of intensive course work, you will learn how to observe and use the same principles that make ecological systems self-sustaining and apply them to your designs for integrated homes and gardens, energy systems and water supplies, communities that function and thrive, meaningful and fulfilling work, economies and global political movements.

FOUR-SEASONS PERMACULTURE DESIGN COURSE
Meets one Saturday a month for 12 months starting July 2005
Commonweal Garden, Bolinas, California
This year-long program covers the same material as our 2-week intensive course (above) while integrating the teachings into the seasons. This provides participants the experiences of winter pruning, spring planting, summer and fall harvesting, food preservation and other seasonal activities.

4-DAY WORKSHOP DAVID HOLMGREN
August 6 - 9, 2005
IONS Campus, Petaluma, California
The Permaculture Institute of Northern California is excited to offer the only 4-day workshop exclusively with David Holmgren on the west coast!
In this intensive course, David Holmgren, co-originator of the Permaculture concept (with Bill Mollison in 1970's) provides an insight into permaculture as a set of design principles for reshaping how we manage land, our lives and our livelihoods in a world of energy descent.

WORK TRADE OPENINGS - Come Join the Fun!
2 work-trade positions are open at our Commonweal Gardens located in Bolinas, California. The focus of these 6-month positions will be on infrastructure improvements for our educational and volunteer programs.
